Pastoral Letter on Immigration

I invite you to read this beautiful letter from Bishops Dolan, Nevares, and Olmsted, and to join me in prayer for those brothers and sisters of our who are affected by the current methods of enforcing immigration law in our country.
And just a personal note, as rector of Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral in Phoenix: there are brothers and sisters, our fellow parishioners, who are unable to receive the Eucharist right now because they are afraid to come to church. This issue is not just an issue for “them” but for “us” who are members of one body in Christ. As 1 Corinthians 12:26 says, “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy.”
